The first answer is correct do not settle the credit settlment is just a game to them there is a legal system designed so you do not have to pay them anything.
Anybody who is willing to face the truth and lead his/her life according to the universal, not manmade laws can do the same — results of which will be easy to live with — No Christmas bills, no over due bills of any kind, no mortgage, no car payments, no student loans to pay back, no maxed-up credit cards nor any fear from outrageous medical bills. I guarantee it.
You do not need to be a victim of any financial scams. The choice is yours of course, as we and only we alone create our own reality. Should you be open to and willing to discuss your personal options in professional and confidential matter, feel free to contact me at: info@josh-holden.com

Debt settlement is a very bad idea. They take your money and let all your accounts go 90 days past due. Then they offer lowball settlements under threat you will file bankruptcy. Not only will this trash you credit, most credit card companies refuse to play and will just sue you. The settlement company won’t be helping with the lawsuit.
If you can’t keep up with your credit card payments, consider credit counseling. Check here for an NFCC member: http://www.nfcc.org/. These are legit, non-profit companies that offer debt management programs for a nominal fee. They negotiate lower interest and payments so you can pay off your debt.

I agree with the first poster – debt settlement is not a good way to go. And a lot of the so-called debt settlement agencies are scam artists beyond what the first poster said.
